Hi:
I'm canadaian. Sponsored my husband last January and we moved to Kelowna this August. All good. Put his two teenagers on the form as we were supposed to but they did not want to come with us right away so non-accompanying.
Question - my stepson (18) is now ready to come over as he is still in the UK. I've looked all over CIC but cannot find out what I need to do to sponsor him. Do I need to go through the whole forms - they already have all his info. He just needs a new medical and police check now. Anyone point me in the right direction please? Many thanks indeed!

Your husband should do a Family Class sponsorship.

Did the children do medicals?

It would have been a lot simpler if they had been granted visas and activated them in the first place.

Thanks so much. Yes, we realize that now but we did not know when or if they wanted to ever live here. We thought we'd covered the bases with them being on the forms and just non-accompanying! My stepson just needs another medical done now. His other expired in October.
