Any one with Nov 04 AOR had any news? Our 21 month period from our AOR date has now expired (Aug 06), still no news, no delay letter, no 90 day letter, no request for update, diddly squat in fact! Getting really peed off waiting myself, Suzyanne is becoming unbearable to live with so I hope we hear something soon. Best wishes to all waiting

We're in the same boat! Applied Nov 04, AOR Nov 04, and NOTHING!
Decembers are getting delay letters, so does that mean, we're not delayed, or just not in the mailing list, or worse still, just MISSING? :scared:
Oh well just be patient, I suppose we'll hear sometime!
Karma sent!

Hi Louise
We have the same AOR (Nov 04) and the same delay letter date (April 07) and the same update letter date August 17th!!!!
We are just waiting for our police certs. How long did it take to get your new certs back??
So far it's been 4 weeks since we applied
Thanks
Darren

How is it that only some of us get delay letters, and others don't?
I'm having a hard time understanding the CIC, (but then again, who does?)
I have used an Immigration attorney, have the people who have had letters applied on their own or used an immigration specialist (maybe they have received it, but not passed it on)?
Getting a bit depressed at the thought of another year waiting!

Hi All
I totally agree with you who can understand CHC it's bizarre, the timelines seem very strange. We have had a delay and a 90 day letter, we have used immigration lawyers in Canada. Our timeline is the same as a couple of others on this thread check out our sig below.

I did not get the second delay letter, is it worth e mailing CIC for this? Or i should assume that whatever documents submitted to them was suffiecient enough?

Hi
I would say update anything you can and send it to them.
My brother in law has also applied his AOR is 2 weeks after ours he had a delay letter in April, delaying him til June 07 and he hasn't had a 90 day letter as yet.

Hi
Does any of this make sense??
I am Nov 20 2004 AOR and got the letter confirming a delay to June 2007. Since then nothing, despite a number of people getting the '90 day letter'. I'm getting a bit worried in case it gets sent and lost in the post so I'm considering emailing them. Does anyone know if CHC ever answer their emails?
Thanks and good luck to everyone.
Jason

At least you got a delay letter so you have a date to work to, since getting AOR date (26th Nov 04) we have had nothing. E-mailed CHC just to make sure a delay letter had not gone missing in post but still waiting for reply. So I guess the answer is don't hold your breath!!

Hi Suzyanne
It's just so annoying. Between the people who have posted to this thread we all seem to be in different situations. None of us know whether we should be hearing soon (if, as in your case, you have had no delay letter), waiting until June or expecting them to start processing our application in 90 days.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to know what is going on so I can put my house on the market and start preparing properly.
BTW has anyone heard of people going through all of this waiting and then getting turned down? It seems almost everyone gets in. Fingers crossed.....
