Notarization

Hi

I am getting my in-laws in Canada to write a letter saying that they will provide support for myself and my husband once we are in Canada if our plans fall through. We are hoping this will not be necessary but thought we should get this as extra proof my husband plans to re-establish in Canada.Do they need to get this letter notarized?

Thanks
