Default NOC list update

Morning all,

How often does the NOC skilled trades list change? I mean has it been relatively consistent over the past few years or is it varying massively every twelve months?

My job is classed as a skilled trade but I'm not on the shortage list. Just wondering if this is likely to chage?

7315-aircraft inspector.

I don't think I can squeak in as a 731 which covers all mechanical engineeeing trades which is why I ask about the list being updated.

Apply now, no one knows how the list will change or if the caps will change.

On a positive note though, i know there are quite a few jobs on the east coast around the aircraft industry, so you could always look at going TWP - PNP

Except the AVEO just closed it's three Canadian operations for maintenance of Air Canada, with about 1800 layoffs.

That's right - although it is now strongly suspected that the cap of 10,000 will be filled by applications already received by CIC. So in other words, any application sent now will not make it within the cap.

Doesn't mean it's not worth trying, but just an extra piece of information I figured I would throw in!

Wayne.
