Default New Work Permit At border crossing

hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me once you have a letter of support from the MPNP immigration office, to change employer, can you go to the border crossing and flagpole or do you have to apply online through Vegreville? We asked the lady at nominee office today and she said that only certain people are allowed to flagpole but i dont understand why that would be. Surely if OH has letter of support from them it makes more sense for him to go to the border and get the new work permit? We have been accepted under the employer driven stream and MPNP have allowed him to change jobs as there are extenuating circumstances. Anyone know if we have to do it online or can we go down to border this week and get the new permit? Advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Take all necessary documents down to the border along with the $150 fee for the TWP and all will be fine. Anyone can flagpole there are just restrictions on who doesnt have to flagpole. Border this weekend new personal exemptions kick in then I suggest taking a book to read while waiting in traffic
