Default New Brunswick Business PNP

Hi,

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has emigrated to NB under the business PNP scheme. In particular:

1. Have you had to hand over a $75,000 "deposit" to the NB authorities? If so, at what point did this happen?

2. Have you had to prove an investment of $125,000 in a business, before they returned the $75k to you?

3. How readily did they return the $75k?

4. How regular/intrusive/robust was the system of checking up on you?

5. For how long did the contact/checking up continue, or put another way, at what point in the development of the business, did they cease their interest in you?

6. Any idea what happens to your $75k, if you invest say $80,000 and business goes belly up? Do they keep the $75k? What happens to it if you decide NB/Canada is not for you, and you return to the UK?

Many thanks in advance.

J
