Need advice on Work experience letter

I have one more question - If my company only provide the information related to my
title, position, salary and work period in the employment letter, but it doesn't
describe my job duties. Is it an valid work experience letter? If not, can I ask the
colleague in my group to provide an additional reference letter to detail what I am
doing in the group? Is it acceptable by the immigration officer? Please advice.
