Is it possible to change your name legally after landing or do you need to wait a year? Ive looked at the government website on name changes and I don't see information on changing it as a PR only as a Canadian or Canadian citizen.
The UK birth certificate is still fine but the passport has the new name and so does the PR card. As it was an adoption the birth certificate is fine because it is has the origional birth name that we wish to have it changed back to.
If we hire a lawyer to legally change it should it be a family lawyer or would an immigration lawyer be better....Thanks in advance if anyone can help
