Hi--
I'm a U.S. citizen, and I want to work in Canada after college.
(I'm graduating with a B.S. degree in Computer Science in December 02)
I'm not quite sure what kind of duties "Computer Systems Analysts" do under
NAFTA definition.
Does anyone have any idea how NAFTA application is approved?
What about for Programmer/Systems Analyst?
Thank you!

development of new information systems to meet current and projected needs.

as documentation of program development. Upgrades system and corrects errors
to maintain system after implementation. May assist COMPUTER PROGRAMMER
(profess. & kin.) 030.162-010 in resolution of work problems related to flow
charts, project specifications, or programming. May prepare time and cost
estimates for completing projects. May direct and coordinate work of others
to develop, test, install, and modify programs.
From my experience they really want to know that you're not just a
programmer. Actual programming duties should total no more than 20% of your
time in the position.
