Default My Timeline for London CIC and question . .

My timeline is as follows:

Posted PR application on 31 July 2001

Received AOR on 8 August 2001

Received note on 31 January 2002 informing me medical would be required

Received papers and instructions on 3 March 2002 on medical and was told that medical should be taken within 3 months of receipt.

Medical was done on 9 May 2002 and report sent to CIC.

Since then I have heard nothing except that on the eDatabase my application is "in process".

Question: Am I to assume that all is ok and that I have been successful in my application???

Many thanks for any replies. This is such a frustrating process but I guess its worth the wait in the end.

Hi Anne,

Does your e-client show that the "medicals have been received" ?
I also did my medicals more than a month ago, and nothing is reflected on my e-status.
I would also like to know if you have the same problem.

I'm also applying through London, and I'm still waiting and waiting.....

Regards

MS

The delays that you have incurred to date are certainly not out of the ordinary. You
should expect a delay of approximately 4-6 months after the completion of medical
examinations prior to issuance of landing documents, barring outstanding
requirements.

I think CIC is conducting background checks. Do something to get your mind off the
wait, and then one day surprise will be in your mailbox!

It seems London CHC is moving again!!

I received a call today informing me that my application is virtually processed, subject to some routine quality checks, and a letter will be put in the post today confirming this.

I can't believe I'm nearly there.

I completed my medicals in April 2002 (1st week) and recieved the letter from CIC to submit my passports for visa insertion in September 2002 (3rd week). I think you should hear something by the end of this month or the starting of next month.

Once the interview nearly 90% of the selection process seems to have been over. The remaining 10% is the medical and background checks. So if your medical and background checks are okay then I believe you dont have anything to worry about.

The above are purely my personal thoughts. Hope they are helpful to you.
