Default My lawyer escaped

I have applied for Canada immigration via lawyer and that lawyer does
show up since six months! I do not know where he is though. I have my
file number so please suggest at me what can I do in this case. Should
I mail the high commission and if yes, what should I tell them?

CIC probably has lawyer's address for all the correspondence. First thing
you do is change this address to something else. Call CIC or write to them
Usually when you hire a lawyer you will also give them authorization to
communicate on your behalf. There must be some procedure to withdraw this.

If you change representatives or stop using their services, you must
cancel your authorization in writing to CIC. If you do not, CIC will
continue dealing with them. If you hire a new representative, you will
have to provide a new written authorization to CIC. It is up to you to
make these changes, they are not done automatically.
