Default Multiple visitor visa

This is a multipart message in MIME format. --=_alternative 00213FB585256B9D_=

Hello,

I am a graduate student in York univerisity. I have been in Toronto on 2-year visitor
visa with my husband and daughter since last August. I have two more exams in two
days and my second term will be over.

Recently I was offered a temporary job in my home country - in europe, and I accepted
it, but I will have higher salary if I stay there for 8 months, i.e. for summer and
fall terms. My visa is good till August 2003 and if I come back to Canada after 8
months, I will still have time to finish 2 remaining terms.

My situation is a little bit complicated, because I applied for immigration visa last
october to buffalo (but received file number in January). I am supposed to get my
answer by August 2002.

I have some concerns / questions

1.My multiple visa does mean that I have right to enter and exit Canada as many times
as I wish as long as it's valid, does not it?
2. If I stay in my country for more than one term will not I jeopardize my visa
and/or student authorization?
3. If I receive a positive answer regarding my immigration application in August can
I still stay in my country for 4 more months?
4. Again if .... do I need to come back to Canada for my medical examination or I can
do it in my country?

I would really appreciate if anyone could answer my questions.

Thank you in advance

YES

: 2. If I stay in my country for more than one term will not I jeopardize my visa
    : and/or student authorization?

NO. Students take leaves of absence all the time for personal or health reasons.
It will be good to have a letter from York stating that you are registered as a
student when you come back.

: 3. If I receive a positive answer regarding my immigration application in August
: can I still stay in my country for 4 more months?

One normally has to get landed within 6 months to a year after receiving
the letter.

: 4. Again if .... do I need to come back to Canada for my medical examination or I
: can do it in my country?

The doctor must be CIC approved, in Canada or your country.

Now, have you asked the International Student Advisor any of the above questions?

: I would really appreciate if anyone could answer my questions.

    : Thank you in advance
