Default Multiple Applications

I just have a theoretical question, we have a FSW1 app with London at the moment and quite frankly I dont do waiting!
Originally we looked at Ontario because my wife has family there, then BC, however recently we have been looking at NS just because the cost of living would suit us and there seem better prospects for my wife to gain employment.
So, NSPNP Community Stream? I see this appears to be sorted quite quickly? As I am no longer on the list, I have relations in NS who emigrated some 30+ years ago (took them 6 weeks from start to finish!) to help us settle in.
So can I start an application and have my FSW1 running in parallel just incase NS turned us down?
Thanks

You can have two applications, but the CIS won't be quicker.

Given that you'll have to visit at least twice before you can apply for PR (so even if you can go twice in the next few months, you're still looking at not putting in an application in until the end of the summer), and then it'll take at least 9 months to get PR after that, I really wouldn't bother - it's likely to take longer than your existing application anyway!

Unfortunately waiting is all you get when you decide to emmigrate to Canada!

That and a happy new life some months/years later after starting the process

I think the comments such as on the thread "AOR from London Aug/September...." have made some of us look at alternative routes...

(the replies to case specific emails saying FSW1 applicants - old list I think - being put on indefinite hold....)

Anyone have anything more on this?
