Default Mr. Miller..Question about getting PR Card

Hello Miller,

I landed in July 2001. When I could apply for the new PR Card and once applied, how
long it takes to receive it. Do I need to be in canada for both applying and
receiving the card. It is said that the existing PRs could apply by september 2002.
If I need to leave canada earlier, can I apply before september and get it. (May be a
special fee for that or any such option possible?)

Thanks in advance.

All permanent residents who obtained PR status prior to June 28 will be able to apply
for PR Card accordingly to the schedule to be established by CIC. It is highly
unlikely that those who landed less than a year prior to June 28 will be in the first
wave, but we need to wait to see the schedule. And yes - you must be in Canada to
apply for and to pick-up your PR Card. Processing may take anywhere from few months
to well over half a year - it is another area we can only guess now about time.

Don't even bother wasting time with this non-entity. He is very quick to label others as dumb but constantly shows his acute dumbness and ignorance in all his posts including the constant flooding of repetitive replies in the threads he visits.
