Default Mr. Miller and other experts please respond. Posting second time!

Dear Sir,

I and my wife are landed immigrants of Canada and live in Windsor,
Canada. My wife works for a company in Detroit, MI on H1B visa. We
have applied for our Canadian citizenship.

For short visits to US, I want to apply for H4 visa status in the US.
Is it possible and what are the chances of getting it? Previously, I
wanted to visit relatives in the US and applied twice for Visitor's
visa with US Consulate which was declined. Also, will getting an H4 visa
have any effect on my citizenship application for Canada? Will my
citizenship application be declined because I have an H4 status in the US?

I will be thankful for your suggestions.

Regards,
MK
