I'm really looking for some advice. I'm Canadian and my husband is English. We're both living in the UK and are applying under the spouse sponsorship visa to return to Canada.
As stated in the new kit, my husband has completed his medical up front and we are waiting to receive the police check from the UK. Also, we have purchased a property in Toronto (as it states that you must show proof of intention to reside in Canada). I've read that the average processing times for the CPC in Canada are 35 days but I can't find any information on processing times once the application for permenant residence has been sent back to the UK. Will the fact that I haven't lived in Canada for the past six years be a hindrance?
Can you advise? I would be very grateful for any information
Many thanks

As you can read in the Krystal's post earlier today London is doing quite
good job for spousal cases, providing that application package is well
prepared and conclusively proves all claims.
