Default Mr. Miller and all other experts - Please

Hi All,

I have applied for permanent residence from within Canada as a spouse of a Canadian
permanent resident 3 month ago. I know that due to the backlog they have I will
receive my AIP in one, two month from now. From what I read on this newsgroup and
others many people send the request for work permit together with the sponsorship
application. If I send my application for work permit now, is it possible to be
refused because I did not received my AIP yet? How long does it take to get a work
permit if I send my application after I receive the AIP?

Your advise is highly appreciated.

Thanks.
