Default To Mr. Miller

Dear Mr. Andrew Miller,

My application finally returned to me today, not because I did not
include the suficient number of photos. I was expected to submit the
evidence in writting of my proficiency in English as my first language
is not English. In fact, in my application, I included an official
transcript of my master's program from a Canadian English university
where I have my master's degree. I thought that that transcript was
the evidence they need. It would be very appreciated if you would give
me your suggestion about how I should make it. Besides the official
transcript, what alse should I submit? I was wondering how to
understand "a written submission explaining your training in English
or French".

Many thanks,

Jeff

Your question has been answered about 4 hours ago (10 minutes after you
posted it first time).

Here is my answer again:

You misunderstood the requirements - you must submit IELTS or CELPIP test
result or a substitute evidence. Your own submission letter is just a small
part of such substitute evidence. You must submit documents conclusively
proving your English proficiency in all four abilities as per Canadian
Language Benchmarks (http://www.language.ca/pdfs/clb_adults.pdf) - I
strongly suggest taking the test as I honestly can't imagine what conclusive
evidence you can provide proving your abilities as per CLB.

Download the CLB and read it carefully. Then try to get the evidence needed
to prove all factors in each ability as instructed in CLB - have fun....

Taking IELTS test will be much simpler and will provide absolute and only
objective proof of your English proficiency - as I stated hundreds of times
in this forum since last June.

Dear Jim Humphries,

I was wondering if I could include a my own submission letter plus an
official transcript of my master program completing in a Canadian
university to get a file number first, then take an IELTS. Is it
feasible? I like your opinion.

Many thanks

Jeff

What a moron!

You had your application already returned once because of lack of
acceptable proof of your language proficiency. Be my guest and submit
it again, and again, and again...

Andrew gave you the detailed answer but you didn't like it and now you
hope for the one you'll like?

What is the problem with taking IELTS now?!
