Default Mr.Andrew please help -PLEASE

Hi

I got my medicals from Buffalo and then I got a letter saying they have stopped my background checks unless if I provide answers to 2 questions

The questions involve the fact that
1. I attended college in US for one year but then took a year off
which makes me out of status but not illegal. I did it cause I didnt have my registration in US as an RN and couldnt take any more courses until i got registered. Meanwhile I was hoping the Canadian thing would come through quickly and I wont have to worry about it

2. I had a student visa for Canada , went there but then decided to come to USA for college as I was getting scholarship and they need me to explain why i have student visa for Canada.

Do you think any of the above is a basis for denial? Should i hire a lawyer? In the manual they talk about illegal but not out of status, is it the same thing to CIC ?

Please help
T

Just answer truthfully all questions. Truth doesn't hurt, lies do...
