Default Mr Andrew Miller/Mr Jim - please help

Hi Sir,

I am about to apply for skilled immigration.I have a bit of confusion about
my work experience.

I have a total of 5 years of NOC listed work experience. But during this
5 years I had 3 different careers (but all are NOC listed).

my first job was as an aircraft pilot: 3 years
second was as a computer programmer and 1.5 years
the third one was as a teacher. 0.5 year

would the above work experience be alright for getting me 21 points.

I am abit confused because a friend of mine recently told me that the entire work experience should only be from a single type of job (i.e I should have been a pilot for more than 4 years to get 21 points)

Your valuable suggestion would help me alleviate my worries.

thanks in advance

As long as the work experience falls within the top 3 bands of the NOC description it counts, that is if you have the credentials to perform the work.

After reading the guidlines I am still abit confused:
it states that 'The applicant must have at least one year of continuous full-time paid work experience, or the continuous part-time equivalent'

but my problem is that I had always been in 'contract' full time employments
and only one of my contracts were of '1 year and 2 days' duration -where as all other jobs were of about 6-8 months duration.

my total full time work experience is more than 5 years (all NOC listed) with:

one contract of a little more than a year
and all other contracts of duration 6-8 months.

please suggest me whether all my work experience would be counted or only the work experience associated with the 1 year contract would be counted

thanks

All will be counted if conclusively documented.
