Default Mr. Andrew Miller & Experts........I need your advice !!

Mr. Miller:

I'll be really grateful if you could help me out by answering the following questions

Here's my timeline:

Documents Submitted: 27th Mar. '01 (CHC Islamabad )
AOR : 19th Apr. '01
Request for additional Documents: 22nd May '01
Additional Documents Submitted: 28th May '01

Questions:

It has been more than 2 years since I submitted my documents at CHC (Islamabad) but to date I have'nt rec'd any communication from the CHC office in Islamabad regarding my interview schedule.

In this regard should I send a reminder letter to CHC (Islamabad ) ??

Mr. Miller, let me tell you that in the letter regarding 'Receipt of Application & Fee', that I received after submitting my application in Mar. '01, it was clearly mentioned that if the applicant has not received any communication from 'CHC' after the following period i.e. 24 months (in my case), the applicant could contact our office directly.

My second question is that I have a total of 4 years of work experience.
Out of which 2 years as an 'Assistant Oracle Database Administrator' and 2 years as a banking officer in a multinational bank. Based on this, can I assign myself 21 points for work experience ??

Mr.Miller, I'll be waiting for your reply.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Furqan

Yes, you may send a fax to CHC Islamabad now, but don't count on reply as
processing time there is now well over 3 years just to assessment stage.

And yes, as long as you have well documented those years of experience it
all will be counted. I strongly recommend immediately updating your
application package to new law's standards - new application forms, all
supporting documents updated and in the currently required form, etc. - as
you will be asked for it anyway, so why wait for request.

Dear Mr.Miller

Can you kindly advice me that how should I notify CHC (Islamabad ) about my 'work experience' details ?

I mean should I send them an application through courier / fax,
highligting my job experience over the past 2 years or is there
any customized form available that I can download and paste my
details on it and then send it to CHC (Islamabad) ??

Secondly, should I take IELTS exam, though I have not been asked so far by CHC (Islamabad)? Please advice ?

Regards,

Furqan

You need to send completed new application forms (download from CIC website)
as well as updated reference letters by mail or courier, no faxes. Also all
other documents listed in current documents checklist for CHC Islamabad.

IELTS - yes, it is strongly recommended to take it and submit original test
result to CHC.
