Default Moving country during application process

We are about to submit our application forms for PR (i.e. this week),
and the company I work for wants to relocate me to the U.S. office in
3-4 months time. Should we submit the application in the U.K. and
then notify the London visa office of a change of address, or wait and
submit in the U.S. ? Could we even leave the application with the
London office while living in the U.S. ?
My wife is a U.S. citizen if it makes any difference.

Thanks for any info on this.

Best would be to leave the application with the London office and be
prepared to return to the UK for an interview if requested. Transfer of
files between visa offices is not normally done and would in any case selay
things considerably.
