Default Moved: canadian experience visa times?

Hi everyone

i've got sept 20,2005 aor.

I keep hearing rumours and whisperings about this canadian experience visa going to come in in 2008, and wondering how it will affect my application (or, how badly, to be more accurate).

Anyone any idea when the canadian experience visa's coming in, or an actual article on teh matter? I keep hearing hearsay but i can't find anything on the CIC website either!

Thumbs up Re: Moved: canadian experience visa times?

Hi Caitilin,

Not sure what mandymoochops means, I thought this was the immigration part of the forum.

Any way we are in a similar position to you in the line {AOR 15th Sept 05}.

We had our 90 day letter on 19/12/07 and returned all the update info on 03/01/08. {had an electronic confirmation of delivery to CIC from Royal Mail special delivery}.

Amazingly it showed our papers were delivered that morning with 36 other special delivery recorded envelopes !!??....I will never moan about my work load again.

I get the impression reading various threads that we will have to wait atleast 6 months for requests re medicals.

I will keep you posted with any developments at our end, will be nice to hear from you or any other Sept 05 AOR's as things move along.

Good luck.

Regards,

Dave and Jo.

Hi Caitilin. You might be talking about the new Canadian Experience where you can find a good information in

http://britishexpats.com/forum/showthread.php?t=503882

I don't think it would affect you - at least not adversely. It seems promising especially to those who are quite new in this process (though I did not read carefully), but it seems you are close to the last step Good luck with the rest!

So close...lol. No mail for me yet. I may send the CHC another letter stating my latest address (though they have one already) just to make 'em look at my file or something, as I also need to send 'em a copy of my MSc cert. Any excuse, right?

Glad to hear canadian experience shouldn't affect me - and I hope it only affects everyone else for hte better!

Ok, back to pacing i guess. Well, training actually, but same diff.

We sent our updated documents (received 90 day letter in july last year) back on the 15 Aug 07. Tomorrow will be 5 months and still not had medical requests. we MUST be close now as I emailed them after 3 months and they said it should take around 5. Holding thumbs for medical request in next couple of weeks

Hurry up and wait? Sounds like one frustration after another but after coming this far its like the inmates turning back after the 99th of 100 walls as its too much effort...

We also had AOR in September 05.

July 07 update requested, serviced in September... still waiting!

I get the feeling that March might be the month that the fan starts to turn.
