Default Move from QC to ON.. problem with PR app?

Hi,
I am currently working in QC on work permit, have CSQ and am waiting
like many others for my PR to come through. Have been here for almost
2 years. Now, there is a really good chance of a real good job
opportunity in ON... My question is, will this affect my PR
application if I did quit QC for ON before I got my PR, even though I
would be employed in almost identical job. I know i've got to get a
new work permit, that would be the easy bit i think.

And I certainly intend to 'land' in Quebec, to avoid any problems.

If it means, regarding PR, that i have got to reapply through
'federal' skilled channel, i can't be arsed with that and will stick
it out here.

Any opinions on this? anyone in a similar situation?

thanks in advance

Stick with the Quebec application.

As part of your Quebec application, you sign a declaration of intent
to reside in QC.

That's not really consistent with working in ON unless you intend to
resign your job and move back to QC upon being granted PR.

So you have to reside in Quebec the rest of your life ?
And, if you land in QC, can't you move to another province ?

You are supposed to make an effort to settle in Quebec upon landing.
If circumstances subsequently change, it's perfectly ok to move
elsewhere in Canada as a Canadian PR or citizen.

It's not acceptable to land in Quebec and then immediately move
outside the province. Although CIC have not yet tried to cancel the
PR status of those who do this, Andrew Miller has observed that they
would have good legal grounds to do so if they wanted to try (on
grounds of fraudulent intent).

What exactly is meant under "settle" ? buy a house ? or just renting an apartment counts ?
