Default More questions re. temp work permits

Most grateful to exultant and enlightened ones for advice on the following:

1). W/p's from London do not ask for birth and marriage certificates - we have these at hand, is it worth including these as 'extras' or not ? Seems strange that they don't want to see more ID than just copy of passport (not even notarised copies asked for !).

2). What are the authorities view of people applying for temp if already stated they have PR in process ? Is this generally viewed as a + or - marker ? I know all cases are assessed individually, but maybe prior (and ongoing) PR application may set off red flashing light at CIC ?

Cheers for any help - perhaps we are worrying excessively regarding this ?

Rich.
