Default Missing PR Card!

Hi All,

Well we landed and are finally permanent residents in Canada! I will find some time to hopefully share our landing experiences (which were all very straightforward) soon but everything is going really well. We move from a sublet to a new apartment this week. Jobs are sorted, banks done etc etc. There is just one small problem. Last week my husband and son's PR card arrived in separate envelopes in the mail. Mine did not and its now been over a week. Has this ever happened to anyone else or does anyone know what to do. I can only assume that since my husband was the primary applicant and our son was listed as his dependant, that mine job processed separately to the rest of the family? Should I start chasing this up or just wait a bit longer. Its not a massive emergency but is a tad frustrating after everything we have been through!

I'd wait a bit longer. My husband got his card really quickly, then a few months later my daughter and I were notified that the photos were not acceptable and we had to submit some more.

Seriously , they aren't making it easy for you guys are they ?

I'd wait another week too. You are dealing with two things here, CIC and Canada post, both of which could be outpaced by a glacier at times

Thanks guys, I think I'll do what you say, give it a week or two and then see what happens. The same thing happened with our driving licences. My husbands arrived 2 weeks before mine and we applied at the same time side by side! Its a bit irritating but not too concerned yet. :-)
