After nearly 10 weeks we received a letter stating our photos need to be retaken. However we only visited Canada to activate our PR and returned home to leave work with the relevant notice periods and sell our house. We have only been given 180 days to return to have our photos retaken but cannot get through to the PR processing centre from overseas. We have tried emailing, faxing and writing to them but have had no reply. Does anybody know how to call the PR centre from outside of Canada? Was hoping we don't have to to visit Canada just to have our photos taken before we return to our current home as this would involve obtaining travel permits from the CH (as our passports have the PR stamp). Any suggestions?

1. 99.99% that you will have to attend the local CIC to get your photos taken, I have only heard of 1 case where new mail in photos were accepted.
2. You can try 1 613 944 4000 (for an agent: options 1,2,1,2,1 ... then 0 to skip the message) No guarantee, and to ensure reaching an agent

"They are available Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., your local time, except for statutory holidays. The Call Centre agents can help you in English or French
