Default Is this misrepresentation?

Hi,

I have applied a couple of months ago in Buffalo. I am claiming work experience from Russia to meet the minimum requirements. When I was applying, I was working in the States, but did not want to disclose it, so I wrote on the application that I was a homemaker. I became paranoid that my Russian work experience might create delays, and, as I have been working full-time at my present job here in US for more than a year, I started thinking that if I update the CIS on this new experience, they might process my case faster, as this job is easier for them to verify. How can I send this new evidence of my experience to them and explain why I did not mention it at the time of submission? Can I explain it well enough for them so that they would not turn me down due to misrepresentation? I did not try to gain anything when I did not mention my employment..?
