Default Misplaced AOR - please respond

Hi,

This is for anyone who can help me with this peculiar situation. I
submitted my PR application to Buffalo in November 2002 and received
the AOR in January 2003. I recently appeared for IELTS , intending to
send the results to Buffalo referencing my file number and other
details. The problem is that I cannot find my AOR (I could kill myself
for such negligience . Regardless, if someone can help me out with
the following two questions:

1. Can I send my IELTS results without referencing the File number ?
If yes, what are the exact details that I would need to provide ?

2. If not, then can I request Buffalo for a copy of my AOR or should I
go the route of requesting the CAIPS file ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!

Thanks
Spirited

Send them in with a covering letter explaining the situation and giving your
full name and date of birth.

Thanks so much for your response. I'll go ahead and do what you
suggested. Now I know they'll not acknowledge it even if they update
the file with my IELTS results, would it make sense to get CAIPS notes
, say after 2 months, just to make sure that they have received the
results and have updated my file ?. I am not overly worried but since
I am sending the original IELTS results, I want to make sure that they
receive it.

Thanks again for your help with this,

Spirited.
