To Miller Berto and other experts
From which date the CHC will count the experience because i applied on
oct 2001 and got AOR on dec 2nd 2001. my 1 year full time experience is fully completed only by Nov 2001 i.e after i filed my case and before i got my AOR(i.e FileNumber) My question is from which date they will count the experience i.e from the date my application received the CHC(i.e October 2001 or the date the CHC is assigning my FileNumber(i.e Dec 2nd 2001). I am waiting for my assessment result from Buffallo . Please solve my doubt Sri |
Re: To Miller Berto and other experts
Minimum 1 years of continuous full time (or full time equivalent) of skilled
work experience is one of 2 pre-requisites at the time of application - if it is not met then officer must reject the application without further processing. -- ../.. Re: To Miller Berto and other experts
Hi Andrew,
I think it is the date on the which the officer opens the file for assessment. If the candidate is still working and have acquired minimum of one year by that date. Also will the officer consider co-op experience as the full time experience. Considering the co-op experience was in the Canada. Because the co-op experience was considered as full time during my application for work visa under software pilot project. Ricky,
How do you think officer would know that applicant is still working past the application date? S/he only sees that minimum work experience requirement is not met, period. If there is no evidence of such work submitted later then case is to be assessed on the basis what was provided with the application. More - officer has no obligation under old law to consider anything past the application as minimum of 1 year of work experience was a pre-requisite to be eligible to apply in the first place, just like it is in the new law. As for the co-op experience - if it was authorized (work permit) and paid employment then it may be counted. -- ../.. Re: To Miller Berto and other experts
Mr. Andrew here what the Candaian Emabassy overseas told my sister.
at the time of the application she had 18 months of experience, she called them up and they told her that to go ahead an update her file once she gets the 2 years experience completed. |
Re: To Miller Berto and other experts
18 months is more than required minimum of 1 year, so application may be
accepted for further processing. And as per Immigration Manual - evidence of more work experience received by visa post prior to the selection assessment will be taken under consideration. But if no acceptable evidence is received in time then case will be assessed as it was at the time of application. -- ../..
