Make sure you select Immigration File number and for the country selection, choose England. It should work.

I was over 35 when I had my medical (in Nottingham). They didn't check my boobs - the Dr said there was no point as I was still breastfeeding my youngest child, and all he would feel would be the milk ducts. I took the results of my latest smear test, and he barely glanced at it.

Apart from that it was like a normal check-up - blood pressure, listen to heart/lungs etc etc etc. DH did have a few more questions asked of him - he has epilepsy, so was asked about his medication, and was also asked about some shoulder surgery he had (to repair a dislocated shoulder some years before).

Hi Lotte W

you mentioned your other half having epilepsy. My son is currently on medication for this and we hope to move to Calgary next summer, did it cause any issues with the medicals / visa office as I am concerned that we may be refused P/R

No, no real problems at all. He got a letter from his consultant stating that all the scans and tests had shown no conclusive cause for his epilepsy and that it was well controlled by medication (plus stating the dosage of the medication he was on) and that was about it. Mind you, he hadn't had a seizure for around 10 years when we did our medicals.

I think the fact that it is so well controlled made the difference tbh, although it did cause us a few worries prior to having the medical

It seems well established that modern medications have made epilepsy more of an inconvenience than serious problem. That is provided that the condition is well controlled by them. Thus a report from the treating specialist may be requested to confirm that. Again, I am not an MD and am replying from observations only.
