Default Medicals Received

DEAR ALL,

I have recd.my medicals & passport requests yesterday. my question to the forum is that what should be the validity of the passports when they are sent for stamping to CIC. My wifes passport is expiring in Sept-2005, can I send it or are there any stipulations for the same. Please advice.

Luck to all

No, send it, but your COPRs will at the most valid to Sept./05, so I really would get it extended.

The COPR (Comfirmation of Permanent Resident or the "visa") is issued with a validity of 12 months from the date of the medical OR the date the passport expires. So in your case the COPR would only be valid to 09/05
