Our AOR is November 2004.....going by the information posted on this forum, we shouldn't have too much longer to wait for our medical requests to come through.
Our particular situation is that we have already moved to Canada and have been living in beautiful Kelowna now for the best part of a year. We were able to do this because Mrs. Steve has gone back to school here on a study permit, which allowed me to gain an open work permit.....thus enabling us to basically wait here in Canada for our PR rather than over there in the UK
The thought of flying back to the UK for medicals is not good
Does anybody know if it is going to be at all possible to avoid doing this by taking our medical examinations here in Canada ?
Thanks, in advance for any information anybdy has

We too are Nov 04 AOR, we are still in UK at mo but have I been offered a job so may move soon on WP. Our consultant said if we did we would get meds in Canada for SW app and results just go back to London, no need for us to go back for meds.
Best wishes
Steven & Suzyanne

Yes, you could do them in Canada. There are 2 designated practitioners in Kelowna:
