Hi, we had our medicals done in Cambridge on 27 March and are still waiting for a result. We were told it would be up to 3 months, but thought I read somewhere on here that things had speeded up a bit to maybe 6-8 weeks. Is there anyone else on here who had medicals done end of March in Cambridge? And if so, have you heard anything yet?!!

Summer season changes cause slowdowns as there are a lot of student and WP applications that also require medicals and topping it off are vacationing officers and transfers in and out of the post.

I had medical done in Leeds on 28 April and passport request came through on 31 May.

From sending in the updated information, it took less than three months to get to passport request

I probably just got lucky ... hopefully you shouldn't have to wait too long now.

we had medicals for a family of 5 done 15th feb and are still waiting !!!!!!!!!!!!

That was fast! So I am somewhere in between these two time periods. Bad enough all the waiting from start of application to finish, but now we have all the added crap of trying to sell a house when no-one wants to buy. I think Gordon Brown is behind it all - we pay too much tax to let us go that easily!

We had our medicals done 31st March.....and now we wait, and wait and wait a bit more

We had medicals done in Regina, Saskatchewan on 28th january and updated stuff sent back in mid March and we have still heard nothing
