Default Medical Send to Medical Received.

Hi Everyone,

Can someone please clarify that how much time it takes from when the DMP sends the medicals to Ottawa to the medical decision?

Appreciate your help.

Hey!
Look this is what Ottawa says..........

"When the medical result have been reviewed Immigration Health Services will enter them into the computerized system. You should allow at least 6 weeks from the time of mailing for the results to be entered into the system. When the results of the medical examination have been reviewed, the Immigration Medical Services will inform the Immigration Office dealing with application of the results".

I did my Medicals on 30th of sep-04, my E-Client changed to medicals recieved in feb - 05, It all depends the six weeks is not true.

it does NOT take that long, in my case, it took only about more than TWO WEEKS.

Jan 05 Medical conducted
Jan 26 Medical documents from DMP reached Ottawa
Feb 15 Immigration Medical result forwarded to Buffalo RPC

in addition, medical results being reviewed and forwarded to Buffalo does not mean you could see it on the e-client. two different issues.

Just to let you all know on my CAIPS notes it says that medical results were forwarded from Ottawa to Buffalo in mid-December and e-client still does not reflect that.

Apparently, e-client usually changes to "medicals received" when the file is reviewed by the immigration officer and she or he actually enters the results. Then, magically, your passport request comes in the mail a couple of days later (at least that is what seems to happen to people here).

My security check--and last requirement--was just received a couple of weeks ago according to my CAIPS, so hopefully soon I will get the "golden ticket." And if I do, I will sing the Willy Wonka song.
