Medical Report

Hi all,

Need a quick clarification.

Is the fee charged by the clinics for medical report set by the
canadian immigration authorities?
Or do the clinics charge however they wish to.

The reason i ask i this question be bcos when i called the clinics, i
got the fee ranging from USD 170 to USD 550.

This is quite a range. After all the tests are the same.

Thank you.

Re: Medical Report

Canadian authorities cannot set fees charged by doctors - it is up to the
doctor and eventually rules in his/her country. So, shop around for the best
deal.

Re: Medical Report

When I looked at taking my medical in St. Louis Missouri, it was the same
way, the fees ranged from 170 USD and up towards 300 something. Anyhow, I
was on holiday in Canada over Christmas when I needed the medical and
scheduled it there. It was 100 dollars CAD. Very affordable to say the
least. If you are close enough, it might be wise to do the medical in
Canada.

Best of luck!
