can i send off my sponsor forms without a medical, im applying for a spousal visa?

No.

If you read IMM3999 it says "The DMP will give you Copy 2 of the Medical Report: IMM 1017 EFC - Medical Report Section A.
Include the original of Copy 2 with your application. (Photocopies will not be accepted.) ". That means you need to have done your medical already when you're submitting your application.

Also in IMM3999 it lists the steps under "How to Immigrate to Canada". Step 3 is "Make an appointment with a Designated Medical Practitioner (DMP) and undergo the
medical examination." and Step 4 is "Send all your forms completed and signed along with supporting documentation...".

Another medical question - how much do they look into family illnesses etc. Our parents are quite old now, and between them they've got pretty much a full house of illnesses. Do we have to declare all, and if so, what sort of influence does it have ?
