Default Medical Question

If someone is asked by the doctor to do the urine test again.
First attemp something was suspcious, in the second attempt all was fine.
What implications will this have when the medical reaches CIC.

Ahmad --

If the second report came out fine, then I don't think it will have
any affect at all.

In my case, the first chest X-Ray caused some doubts in the doctor's
mind and he ordered another one.
The second one came out fine and he simply discarded the first one and
sent the second one to Ottawa.

So you are probably going to be ok.

Default What's After Medical

Hi!
I have one quick question. What if my blood pressure was a little high at the medicals? Will my application be successful? All else is fine.
After submitting my medical report how long will it be before I hear from the London CIC? It’s been three years now.

Default Re: Medical Question

When I went for my med test the first time, my BP was slightly above 140.
DMP request me to come back again after one week when I told him I suspect
that I have "white-coat" syndrome, i.e. BP goes up as I get anxious when BP
is being measured. The second test turned out okay.

I ask the DMP what will happen if my BP stays above 140 - he said he will
have to order more test to show that I do not have any other cardialogical
problems - e.g. treadmill etc. If I have no such problems, then he may see
if my BP can be controlled using drugs.

I suggest you discuss with your DMP your concerns. My DMP was very helpful
in addressing my queries and concerns.

Steven, thanks for you reply. The examiner that was doing the examination on me did tell me that I was anxious and tense for my BP to be above normal. He did extra tests on e.g. ECG and found nothing wrong with me. There re three check boxes on the medical form, my examiner did check the first box which is all clear sort of box. Before I started my examination I did tell the examiner that I was under medication for BP so he recommended additional test e.g. sugar, blood and protein in my urine. Everything came out ok.
My advise to all, at the start of your examination tell the examiner about any medication one is under. This will help in expediting the process.

Hi Steve!
Thanks for your encouraging reply. My DMP did do a ECG on me and he told me that every thing is fine with me and he did mention that I was anx. at the test.
