Medical exams
Hi all,
I am studyng an MBA in Queen's University and my wife a certificate on E-Business at the University of Ottawa. We have our immigracion process in course for 2 years. We received the forms for the medical exams and went to an authorized MD in Ottawa. We were instructed from the Embassy (our process started in Colombia) that the Doctor should send the package (with the exams reults) to Trinidad & Tobago where they process the exams for Latin American countries. The doctor said that he will send it to immigration Ottawa and they will figure out whether to send it to Trinidad & Tobago. Is this is the standard procedure?. We are quite concerned that by doing what he said (against the Canadian Embassy instructions), the documents won't make it for their destiny and our process would be delayed. We are finishing our studies in April. My second question is what options do we have to stay in Canada while the immigration process finishes? We have a couple of possible employments to be defined in the next weeks but I am concerned that these delays in our status can jeopardize our elegibility to work. Can you please give me some advise? Do you have an idea how much extra time can the process take after the medical examinations are sent? Thanks a lot in advance for your help Carlos |

If your case is still at Bogota then Post of Spain is the correct place to
send the completed medicals. -- Jim Humphries, former visa officer "Carlos" wrote in message news:[email protected]... > Hi all, > I am studyng an MBA in Queen's University and my wife a certificate on > E-Business at the University of Ottawa. > We have our immigracion process in course for 2 years. Re: Medical exams
Thanks a lot Jim,
If the doctor didn't want to send them directly to Port of Spain but to Ottawa, do you think they would forward them to Port of Spain? Is there any document that says that they should send them there so we can show it to the doc and convince him to do the right way? Thanks Again, Carlos "Jim Humphries" wrote in message news:... > If your case is still at Bogota then Post of Spain is the correct place to > send the completed medicals. > -- > Jim Humphries, former visa officer > "Carlos" wrote in message > news:[email protected]... > > Hi all, > > > > I am studyng an MBA in Queen's University and my wife a certificate on > > E-Business at the University of Ottawa. > > > > We have our immigracion process in course for 2 years.
