Medical exam questions

It seems to me that this was already discussed but I
could not find the corresponding thread. What are the
rules for medical exams? Is the whole family supposed
bo be examined by one doctor and at the same time? Can
the examination be done in different countries for
different family members? Can the whole family be
examined by a doctor in a country other than the country
where application was filed?

I just have a slightly complicated situation. The
application was filed in the US but now my wife and son
are going to Russia and I am going to Canada on work visa.
So, what is the best way to handle this situation when
(and if) it is time to do the medical exams? Can they all
be done in Russia? Can they be done in Canada? Do we all
have to go to a doctor in the US? Can the medicals be done
in the US (for me) and Russia (for my family)?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Yes, all can be done in Russia if you want that way.

Can they be done in Canada?

They can be done even Canada.

No need to go to US for the purpose of medicals.

You can undergo your's either in Canada or US and your family's either in Russia or wherever it is convenient for them on this earth. Pl note that it should be done at any of the DMP's listed in CIC website.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Hope this helps

Re: Medical exam questions

Medical exams can be done anywhere but must be done by a Designated Medical
Practitioner.

Hi Jim,

Should all the family members be examined by the same doctor?
