Default Medical exam - before, or after, we post our app' for permanent residency?

Hi all.

Can you help please?

My wife and I are living in London, UK - and planning to move to her home town in Nova Scotia.

I can't seem to figure out if I need to do my medical exam and enclose the results with my applicaton - or if the CIC receive my application and then tell me to go for the exam?

I'm getting differing messages on this. The guide notes are hopeless!

Does anyone have a definitive answer, based on their own experience (similar to mine) please?

Many thanks for your help.

Regards,

Scott Neilson

Nope, for spousal sponsorship you have to have the medical done first.

The guide notes are pretty clear that sponsored spouses must do the medical exam and include proof with the sponsorship/PR application package.
