Manchester.

Got to the clinic, waited 1 hour after my booked time before being seen (morning surgery was still in progress). Then got sent for x-rays in a taxi which was paid for on account but the driver didn't know this so had to argue with him. Arrived at the x-ray dept as instructed and was told I should have gone to the cashiers office first to pay. Went to the cashiers office which by now had closed for an hour and a half lunch break so had to wait. Got it all done eventually but it took all day.

My daughter was found to have a urine infection and to had to see the GP and get antibiotics and a re-test. The GP the posted the results on but the clinic never received them (allegedly). She went back to the GP who faxed them while she was there - they still never received them. She got her own copy and faxed them from work and faxed them again - a week later they rang to say they were still waiting for the report. This time she faxed them whilst on the phone and waited until they came out the other end.

Buy the time CHC London got the medical results the police checks had run out and we now have to do them again.

Sorry to vent - but this is our story - and you did ask.

Try Leeds!!

Hi
destinationnovascotia

Which DMP in Manchester did you use Collegiate Medical Centre or Altringham Medical Pratice . I've contacted both of these and the Leeds Student Medical Practice , I would prefer Leeds but they are fully booked until mid October plus are £50 per person more expenisive than Manchester.
Its looking like the Mary Adams at the Altringham Medical Pratice in Manchester. Has anyone else had their medicals done at Altringham

Many thanks in advance

Hi Joinerboy

We went to Altrincham - got an appointment within 2 days; extremely efficient, took 90 mins including x-rays.
