I had to do a double take on your thread title, at first I thought it read Married with Children, and I was going to say there was a tv series by that name. Hope you did'nt marry a guy like the one in the tv show, otherwise you would be seriously compromised lol.

HI taisa

Marriage does not give automatic living rights in canada, although you can "live here" with your husband under a TRV(Temporary Resident Visa) which i belive you have, but this means you canot work or have access to local facilities unemployment benifits, health etc without paying for it! and you would have to keep renewing the TRV

You still would have to apply for residency if you plan to stay here, an inland application would take appx 6 months to process
details are at http://www.cic.gc.ca if marrried the family class application will be used.

I hope this helps.

An inland spousal application takes at present 8 to 9 months for average case and may take longer.

Sponsorship from abroad takes about 55 days to approve sponsor and 4 to 6 months in Warsaw for PR application.

And of course marriage of convenience will not give you a PR status - it has to be a real relationship, developed over time and well documented.
