Default maiden name-Mr. Miller and Mr. Humphries please

Dear Sirs,

We got interview request today. Now my wife is principle applicant. She has passport with her maiden name. Is it normal or we have to change her name in the passport before going for the interview? We are informed to bring marriage certificate, academic certificate and proof of liquid fund.

Please reply,

Thank you.

I know you asked for answer from experts but hope you do not mind if I make a comment. Did you wife apply under maiden name or not?
If she applied under married name then she should have married name in her passport. That is just my opinion.

If she applied under married name then obviously she needs passport with the sdame name as in the application. Visa will not be issued to the passport bearing different name.
