Default Lost interest in canadian PR/getting USA GC - Need advise Mr. Miller/Experts

Hi all-
Its been long time since I joined this forum. I was very interested while applying to canadian PR (Staying in USA since 2000) in Feb 2005, My AOR, IA done and received Medical requests 6 months back(but not done till today).
A letter came from consulate that I need to provide medicals completion evidence within 60 days. So went and completed medicals today.

I thought of dropping from canadian PR many times ...but still continuing...

Reason for my frustation is that I may not do justification if I take canadian PR now(becuase my status changed a lot..).

1) When I applied for canadian PR in Feb 2005, I had only temporary job in USA, so interested to move to canada.
2) Now, I got permanent job in USA and my green card is in progress...2 stages done ..waiting for last stage to finish( one year or maximum in two years i will be US permanent resident).
3) Mean while, last december 2006, I got medicals request for canadian PR.
4) Delayed the canadian medicals and finally done today(after final letter from canadian consulate).
5) Still not sure, Do I continue with Canadian PR? Need advises...please throw your thoughts...

Is it better than in USA? or Is it advisble to get canadian PR and keep the status somehow? if yes, how?

You cannot be a permanent resident in more than one country. You'll have to choose...US or Canada.

That's not quite true. It is possible in certain circumstances to keep both statuses.

However the original poster isn't yet a U.S. permanent resident and if he "lands" in Canada he can hold onto his Canadian PR for 2-3 years.
