Default Looks Like I got It.. Other Requirement Question For Experts.

Hello Experts

I emailed my Immigration Officer this morning and got the following reply

"We have sorted out the problem with your medical report and I am pleased to
advise you that you will soon
receive a request for your passport and other requiremenst to issue the
visa- please wait for this letter"

I was hoping if anybody could let me know what the "OTHER REQUIREMENTS"
mean.

Also my case is being processed at Los Angeles. Can I personally go to the
consulate to get my visa stamped as opposed to sending them my passport.?

Thanks in advance for your help

Dave

Normally faxing is the process.. but if the immigration officer is nice,
they will email you back.
I got this idea from a friend who used to email his immigration officer in
Detroit.
I also interviewed in June 03. I found it caips ( July 03) after submitting
additional documents
that my case was a sucess, but was wondering why they did not send me the
passport letter
so I emailed them...

You either ask for it during the interview or you can look up the specific
consulate website and see if they have one listed for your immigration
officer..

In the case of Los Angeles, I just called the Consulate's main number, got a
receptionist, and asked for the immigration section - spoke to a person
there who arranged to have the RFP sent immediately.
