Default A little advise please

My Daughter and son in law have their PR (awaiting PR Cards though) and are hoping to make the move over later next year.
What is the procedure if they have a baby before they come over, do they have to apply for PR all over again?
I tried looking on the wiki but couldnt find anything.
Advise would be appreciated. Thanks

If they have a baby overseas the child would have to be sponsored which means that one of the parents would have to settle in Canada after it is born to do that. There would be a chance to bring the child to Canada with them if the child is a citizen of the UK. They would then sponsor the child from within Canada. Generally it is not such a good idea as it certainly costs in time and frustration while depriving the child of Canadian citizenship.

There is always the health coverage and schooling problem if they'd bring the child to Canada as a visitor and sponsor him/her from within Canada and that could be quite costly. Personally I'd move and have the baby in Canada so it'll automatically be a Canadian citizen or have it in the UK and sponsor it but then the parents might have to live apart for a while.

I don't think the schooling will be a problem if its not born yet but the health care is worth considering.

haha I figured if they don't want to move before they have a baby they might not want to move with an infant and wait until it's older. Then again if they wait until school age they'd probably not meet the PR requirements. So forget the schooling problem, but health care would have to be sorted privately.

Thanks for your replies.
Am hoping they will come over early next year, then start a family afterwards, but If my daughter comes over and is pregnant when they get here, would she be covered by Alberta Health after she has been here for 3 months?
They would be coming to Alberta
