Default Letters lost in post...does this happen-if so, what outcome

Hi guys....
Just been thinking about this..nerves now creeping in, as a few peepz in here are getting visa and letters on a similar timeline to mine...y'know how the mind plays trix...
anyway, what WOULD happen if immigration in london did send a letter of acceptance and a passport request, and this was lost in the post...whats the outcome then??? especially with the post in the dissarray it now is, specially round here, Its absolutely atrocious

Like i say, its one of them things now worrying me needlessly, but i guess this must have happened to someone?
What WOULD happen in this instance, should it arise?

cheers guyz

I have had similar thoughts! If you check e-client on the CIC website, you should be able to pick the problem up reasonably quickly, in which case you could contact the High Commission in London to sort it out.

actually, according to some people, e-client hasnt even changed after they received their passport requests. Which is what is worrying.

Oh. Perhaps worth a try, though, if not something to rely on.

Cheers for that rhodes...thats the kinda thinking we would do IF anything showed up on ecas. Like the misses says, we've had some feedback from guys here who have thier visas, and ecas hadnt changed from in process, even after all thier bits were completed.
Anyone know of a contact number for immigration uk, that they would actually answer, not just be a message to message queue system?

If CHC doesn't get a reply say within 60 days, they will send another letter, usually stating if they don't hear from you within x days, they will assume that you are no longer interested in emigrating and will close the file.
