Default Legal Name Change - any issue to be concerned?

I am planning to legally change my name due to a spelling mistake and first
name - last name confusion. I would like to get some feed back from those
who has gone through the route or knowledgeable on that matter. What problem
am I likely to face for that name change.

I am aware that legally changing someones name in Canada is pretty straight
forward. But is there any issue that might pose some problem or extra
hassles in future? Like I must have to carry name change certificate
everywhere or when traveling across the border (especially to USA) etc.,
making it more troublesome than what is it worth.
