Default leaving canada after visa stamped

Hi all. We have finally decided (could change by next week!!) to head to Canada now before our house sale goes through.

Just wondering if anyone can enlighten me with an answer to....

If we go to BC and 'land' can we come back to UK before we have our PR cards? and get back into Canada without any problems? we will properly only want to come back for a few days once the house has completed. Would we encounter any problems trying to get back in??

Hope the above is understandable!

Any help greatly appreciated.

You can either arrange for someone to post them to you or obtain the appropriate visa from London as Morwenna did

Or save yourself the charges and just use your British passport in the usual way (subject to airline regs.) as Mans recently did

You won't have problems from the immigration side of things, the only thing you need to double check is your intended airline's requirements. Sometimes those bear no relation to actual immigration policy :scared:

With a return ticket, there should be no problem from any airline. Provided you don't complicate matters by telling them you are a PR (they do not need to know).

With a one-way, it's going to depend on airline policy, check in advance & get confirmation in writing before parting with money to buy a ticket.
